Jackery Expands Energy Solutions at CES 2025
At CES 2025, Jackery has captivated audiences with exciting new energy products designed for both home use and outdoor adventures. The company unveiled three major innovations: the all-new Solar Roof tiles, a mid-sized solar generator, and a powerful charger for vans, pickups, and RVs. These products aim to enhance energy efficiency and portability.
Revolutionary Solar Roof Tiles
The standout feature of Jackery's lineup is the Solar Roof, which is constructed from stylish curved tiles available in two colors: obsidian and terra-cotta red. The terra-cotta option closely resembles traditional clay-tiled roofs, surpassing the aesthetics of flat solar panels commonly seen in European markets.
Jackery touts an impressive cell conversion efficiency of over 25%, making their solar panels a high-performing choice for homeowners. These durable tiles can endure hail impacts, high winds, and extreme temperatures, ranging from -40°F to 185°F. Each purchase is backed by a robust 30-year warranty.
HomePower Energy System: Power for Your Whole Home
Joining the Solar Roof is Jackery’s innovative HomePower Energy System (ES), set to launch later this year. This system requires professional installation but offers remarkable capabilities, producing up to 11.4kW of power and accommodating both 120V and 240V loads. With a max storage capacity of 123.2kWh, this system can keep all appliances in an average home running for over four days during a blackout.
Explorer 3000 v2 Solar Generator
Also introduced is the new Explorer 3000 v2 solar generator, situated just below the flagship 5000 Plus model. Designed to power crucial appliances like refrigerators during power outages, this generator provides 3kWh of LFP storage with a sustained output of 3600W. One impressive feature is its instantaneous 0ms UPS cutover time—allowing seamless transitions during an outage.
The Explorer 3000 v2 can be recharged efficiently: in about 11 hours using a pair of 200W solar panels, or in just 2.5 hours when connected to an AC wall outlet. Charging from a 12V car socket can take nearly 36 hours, but users can opt for the new DC-DC car charger for quicker top-ups.
Groundbreaking DC-DC Car Charger
This DC-DC car charger marks Jackery’s entry into the realm of alternator chargers, positioning the brand alongside competitors like Bluetti and EcoFlow. Once installed in a vehicle, this charger can provide up to 600W of charging to Jackery’s large portable batteries—representing a five-fold increase compared to a standard 12V car socket.
Conclusion and Future Prospects
While Jackery has made waves at CES 2025 with these innovative products, details about pricing and availability remain sparse. Future updates are anticipated, particularly about how these products will cater to the growing demand for renewable energy solutions and sustainable home systems.
